Spotted a few bare legs on the Tube today? Hundreds of brave Londoners stripped down to their undies as part of the 10th annual No Trousers Tube Ride. What started as a prank on the New York subway back in 2002 has since become a worldwide phenomenon with more than 60 cities flashing their drawers on public transport. Today’s chilly reveal began at the National Gallery with people of all ages and backgrounds getting their pins out for an “international day of silliness” according to Tom Hayes, one of the dedicated people prepared to bare their pants on the Underground. Hayes commended the atmosphere on the Tubes with one person “who hadn’t been taking part but then saw us and joined in”.
